Meanwhile, Morgan and Alicia face a new phase of challenges where they meet a survivor who has suddenly found him. Over time, the group is struggling to achieve more schemes they are trying to do again.

After weeks of playing nice, proving that even in the zombie apocalypse there's no problem that can't be solved with a hug and a laugh, the show proved with this week's episode, "Leave What You Don't," that it's still the sibling to The Walking Dead.

Some have been unhappy with the quality of Season 5's back half so far particularly. Not Father Gore. But this episode is definitely taking things up a notch, which is not a bad thing in any way.

"Leave What You Don't" was a literal title this week as the writing crew decided they'd invested too much time into Logan and his random gang for them to be one of the more ineffective villains in the series.

It takes some time for reflection before truly appreciating "Leave What You Don't," as a marvelous character episode with multiple twists and turns in the plot. But that's exactly what it is.
