Crime is down, people feel safer, and Captain Lance even calls off the Anti-Vigilante Task Force. Oliver believes he can finally have a private life and asks Felicity out on a date. But the second Oliver takes his eye off the ball, a deadly villain reappears in Starling, forcing Oliver to realize that he can never be Oliver Queen – not as long as the city needs The Arrow. This show's normally so fast-paced that I'm loving this relative slow-down.

I was disappointed that the first half of "The Offer" started to retread the same paths of self-doubt that were explored in the last six episodes. But luckily, the second half of "The Offer" had enough twists and turns to make up for it.

"The Offer" proves to be a decent episode of Arrow, albeit maybe not the most exciting entry to return to after a three week hiatus.
