Arrow - Season 3 Episode 19: Broken Arrow
Crime is down, people feel safer, and Captain Lance even calls off the Anti-Vigilante Task Force. Oliver believes he can finally have a private life and asks Felicity out on a date. But the second Oliver takes his eye off the ball, a deadly villain reappears in Starling, forcing Oliver to realize that he can never be Oliver Queen – not as long as the city needs The Arrow. In Season Three, Oliver faces an even greater threat, when another lethal face emerges from his dark and tortured past – Ra’s Al Ghul!

"Broken Arrow" serves to remind fans that this series it as its best when it is focused, tautly paced, and dares to kill its darlings.

Arrow fans have been anticipating that Season 3 would drop plenty of bodies before its finale, but good grief, did tonight's "Broken Arrow" spill a good deal of blood for a CW drama.

Like many episodes this season, "Broken Arrow" can't help but feel a bit fragmented. Yet, ultimately, the fragments (mostly) work well enough that we're willing to forgive the fact that they don't always cohere.

I think the term 'emotional roller coaster' was built exclusively for this episode of Arrow.

Speaking of Roy, "Broken Arrow" probably serves as the greatest spotlight yet on the character.
