Burn Notice - Season 6
Season 6 opens with Fiona now in custody and facing an old foe inside prison, Michael pulls out all the stops to take on Anson. Later, Michael takes on a drug cartel for his former mentor to gain access to Fiona, who must befriend a fellow prisoner to fend off a gang leader.

Burn Notice has done gritty before, but now that even Maddie is gunning people down, maybe it's trying a little too hard to go dark.

The season 6 premiere contains some of the best collective performances from the cast to date as the fast-paced chess match between Anson and Michael provides a wonderful platform for everyone to shine.

With the introduction of a sort of final final FINAL boss in Jere Burns' Anson, the show seemed to find its footing again after years of Michael facing down various villainous heavies, Russian nesting doll-style.
