It all sounds (and looks) rather promising but I can't work up the enthusiasm, and the other teen survivors are less than charming.

From what we've seen so far, The Rain is so much more than 'The Walking Dead with teens' - it's a satisfyingly full-blooded and handsomely filmic series that justifies the hype.
