Black Summer - Season 1
It is a series of dramatic and terrifying dramatic events that we live through the early days of the end of the world in which the zombie has spread amazingly. Meanwhile, there is a group of outsiders who are trying together to find the strength they need in order to escape the disastrous predicament of survival and return to their loved ones. In the meantime, Rose, Spears, Ryan and Anas find refuge to escape again. It may seem that they are not alone, as they learn the risks of following the heart instead of the head.

In a sense, Black Summer is The Walking Dead without all the bloated melodrama, kooky villains, and pretentious blabbering.

Although far from being the best of the genre, Black Summer is the zombie apocalypse series I've most enjoyed since the first season of The Walking Dead. [Full review in Spanish]
