The third season is complemented by various comedy events where a new allegation of sexual assault is provoking a real controversy at Armstrong Parker House and may possibly make Joel and Reggie go a different path further. In the meantime, Brooke is following a new approach with Muffy, one that will change course, and Gabe tries to make up for the mistake he made a while ago.

Viewed in a vacuum, the third season of Dear White People is a good season of TV. It's just that the previous seasons had me expecting greatness.

Dear White People is running out of ways to kill time within the ivy-covered walls of Armstrong-Parker (a game of Mafia that leads to heavy debate is one exception), to the point where Season 3 feels better suited to a feature film than 10 half-hours.
