Arrow - Season 7 Episode 08: Unmasked
A new and exciting return to the most powerful and exciting series through the Seventh season. Oliver is forced to face his fears and difficult positions inside the prison after surrendering to the police, which is considered a green arrow. While Oliver tries to stay alive inside the prison, Felicity tries to find Diaz by any means, and Felicity seems to get an exciting show. Oliver will have to ally himself with an old enemy for the first time.

Three-quarters of "Unmasked" felt like filler. However, there were a few key moments that stood out, some of them good and some of them... not so much.

"Unmasked" makes for an uneven hour that still gets to the end of the first half of the season with a few moments that set up where some of our favorites stand in their relationships and hinting at what's to come for some new additions.

Most of the setup in this episode is compelling, though the rushed execution hinders the overall impact of these plot twists. Felicity's sudden transformation into an embittered shut-in comes across as especially forced.

Though we followed Oliver's attempts to reclaim his life, the reveal of the New Green Arrow stole an excellent story's thunder.

Nary a second of this episode went wasted. Instead, the fall finale dove right into exploring what Oliver's world looks like as a freed man... And in doing so, it addressed things I didn't even think to wonder about.

Well, "Unmasked" revealed how Arrow can continue with Oliver as the Green Arrow, and the solution is as straightforward and simple as it is unexpected in my book.

This whirlwind episode was satisfying, even if packed to the gills. There's nothing like seeing Oliver Queen back in uniform -- except, perhaps, Oliver casually strolling into SCPD, leather pants and all, knowing no one can touch him.

I've felt the best way to freshen the series up would be to let someone else actually take over for Oliver. Whether this new story wrinkle will lead to that... is another story, but at least there's potential

As the last regular edition of Arrow until 2019, Unmasked had some interesting developments and left a ton of questions.
