"Forbidden Fruit" is easily the best episode of the season. It picks up the pace and it actually feels like the plot starts to get moving here.

"Forbidden Fruit" written by Manny Coto did an extraordinary job of setting up one of the very well awaited returns of iconic Coven characters.

There was a welcome supernatural lightness in those final moments... That's not to say the season's about to get exponentially better, but it was a very welcome shift from the Lazy Susan of aggravation these past few weeks have offered up.

This season of American Horror Story is probably really hard to follow if you're not a superfan of the franchise... "Forbidden Fruit" was a moment for superfans to rejoice.
