The Naked Gun From the Files of Police Squad
Thrilling and powerful adventures are told about the ineffective lieutenant Frank Drebin. The job begins when his partner is shot by drug traffickers, Frank starts looking for the culprit or the person behind everything. At the same time, Queen Elizabeth II of England comes to the city and the murderer Vincent Ludwig plans to assassinate her through a baseball player. Frank may be exposed to a set of loopholes that can not be seen from one look because they come quickly and deadly.

The Naked Gun is hugely funny, but it`s also liberating-precisely because it centers its aim on that cold, closed system and blows it apart. The straight lines are shattered; the empty spaces in the images are packed full until they burst.

The two Zuckers and Abrahams have, surprisingly, forgotten a principle of parody that they taught everyone else. Namely, that the jokes have to fit, and that they have to refer to the target -- in this instance police movies.
