Born and raised in Springfield, Massachusetts, Tyra knew at a young age that she wanted a career in show business. Tyra earned a B.A. in Television & Film Production from the John H. Johnson School of Communications at Howard University in Washington, DC. In addition to acting, she is also a writer and photographer. She loves to travel, read and meet new people.
