A long series of adventures re-live during the twenty-sixth season. The season begins with Krusty's conscience crisis, which made him decide to retire from the show after his father's death before agreeing to his career, and Lisa is concerned about Homer's health. On the other hand, Marge is forming a fictional soccer team from Homer, and Marge opens a big shop for sandwich work after she became a good sandwich at the Springfield Elementary School.

One thing that can be said about the SImpsons is no one will ever accuse this show of shying away from poking fun at itself. In fact, that's one of the things it does best.
