The comedy series tells of a young man named Payton Hobart, who lives in the hope of fulfilling his dream of a senior political post. Payton wants to become president of the United States, but first he has to navigate the political scene before taking any step. Payton should know precisely the path of St. Sebastian High School, a treacherous political scene.

Tonally, it's scattered (dark comedy, musical, drama), but all in all, it's totally watchable.

The show certainly stumbles its way through to the finale, but with a second season already in the offing and a fantastic set-up for the next run, we think The Politician could eventually win the race.
