The series follows obstetrician gynecologist Mindy Lahiri as she tries to balance her personal and professional life, surrounded by quirky co-workers in a small medical practice in New York City. Mindy begins Season 3 of this comedy in unfamiliar territory: she's in a steady relationship with Danny, a fellow ob-gyn at Shulman & Associates, but as coworkers, she wants to keep their romance a secret.

I wish The Mindy Project had the audience size it deserves; as a romantic workplace-comedy, it's better than most of the Hollywood feature films in this genre that have been released during this show's existence. Tell your friends.December 03, 2014
This episode is full of sex, orthodontic charities, and strippers. All I can say is "Whoa, Nellie."September 17, 2014
But the core of the show is Mindy and Danny more than ever before and the premiere suggested that core is enough to carry the show as a whole as it continues its never-ending tinkering around the margins.September 17, 2014
After two full seasons, Mindy Kaling and her fellow writers still haven't quite learned from their mistakes.
