This dramatic series tells of a new world of different drama mixed with history in the 19th century. The series begins with July who works on a farm owned by her obnoxious lover Caroline Mortimer. When a new arrival becomes attractive to the island, Robert Goodwin, is the new supervisor, things may change. Both are intrigued by the idea of improving the farm. On the other hand, Robert's arrival complicates matters at Amante's farm, where Caroline and Julio have begun to compete for their attention.
