The Last Kingdom - Season 3
In the third season, the events seem more exciting and stronger through the start of the season through a new threat embodied by the fierce Danish warrior Bloodhair. Both Bloodhair and Aethelwold try to convince Uhtred in their alliance against Alfred, and Aethelflaed turns into Father Boca for help. On the other hand, there is a murderous betrayal threatening to break up Ragnar's army.

There's also a Danish villain named Bloodhair thanks to his habit of . . . smearing blood in his hair. Subtlety is not The Last Kingdom's strong suit, but I'm telling you-it's a blast.
