The animated series tells of an orphaned young man named Jack, a 13-year-old. Jack lives in his monster-filled town where he tries to get used to this everyday situation. Jack will have to think fast and find new friends to cope in a city where creativity seems to be the only way to survive.

The Last Kids On Earth is one of the best kids' shows we've seen all year, mainly because it has plot and character development worthy of shows for grown-ups.

It's all fine. It's not, like, great, but it's fine. And in the end, June disabuses Jack of all notions of damsel-saving, and the four kids save the world together, with remarkably negligible blood and gore. It's fine.
