Romantic Events Continue In the third season, Kate rents Billy Blakey, who promotes an impersonating party to promote her work on the planet with a gaming night, while her son Dawood does not readily agree with Billy's presence. Meanwhile, Jenny wonders where she stands with Muira on an eventful road trip to California, where she embodies the wife of a man and a woman, encounters teenagers who are backward with hatred, and dances in a gay bar off the road.

Max and Jenny in "Lost Weekend" is lovely, and the writers seem to care more about the emotional and personal implications of Max's transition... here than they do in later seasons.
