A new season begins with much more challenges and adventures that follows Alicia, a middle aged woman and the former wife of an attorney, who has lost his reputation in a sex scandal that leads her to return to work, in order to raise her children. In this new season, Alicia, takes on a case to defend a Palestinian accused of murdering a jewel.

Is there any other series on television that could handle the topic of Israel/Palestinian relations in such an even-handed manner? Most shows wouldn't even go near the topic. But The Good Wife dove right in.
