September 14, 2018
Offers the right blend of smart, goofy and downright crude humor.
September 13, 2018
Abounded with witty repartee and sexually tinged innuendo.
September 14, 2018
Fox retains his wonderful timing and delivery, adroitly hitting his stride in his one-on-one romantic scenes with costar Carla Gugino. But the political satire that makes up the rest of the show is toothless, corny, passé.

Spin City is smart stuff. The one-liners zing, Mr. Fox and company are disarming and the 22 minutes flow by effortlessly. The only snag is that concept of spin. Are those who toy with the truth all that funny?
September 14, 2018
Sophisticated, snap-crackle clever and deeply cynical -- in fact, it is one of the most cynical television series I have ever seen. If that's your definition of smart, then you will adore this series..
September 14, 2018
Spin benefited not just from the charm of Fox but also was blessed with one of the better sitcom ensembles of the nineties. Plots are broad and the comedy is physical, but the show was well written and amazingly acted.

It's a mark of Fox's talent that he can make you laugh out loud at lines which, written down, aren't even amusing.
September 14, 2018
Saw Michael J. Fox demonstrating one of his strengths as he had in Family Ties: making a potentially obnoxious character likeable.
September 14, 2018
Although hardly a growth role for Fox... it's one that he wears so comfortably that the fusion of actor and character is seamless and a treat to watch.
September 14, 2018
The supporting players are quirky fun, but Fox commands the spotlight with his flair for physical comedy and unfailing ability to mine each line for optimum laughs.
September 14, 2018
A delightful, slickly attractive TV show, and ABC's most sophisticated comedy series since . . . uh . . . well, in a long, long time.
September 14, 2018
It's funnier than most half-hour comedies on TV right now, although that's not saying much.
