Series 7 picks up where the sixth series ended with bad things happening at the Reeves dam. Lex's secret laboratory complex is destroyed, and Clark's Bizarro doppelganger is unleashed. The dam bursts, and Smallville is on the verge of being swept away in the floodwaters unless Clark can overcome a being that's even stronger than he is.
