Despite questionable decisions, this is the most Riverdale has ever made Archie feel like a character who cares about what's going on.

I wouldn't think the homage should be taken literally. Which is to say I don't think the Zodiac Killer is a character on Riverdale. But it is an apt reference to make in a different way: this event essentially marks whoever this guy is as a serial killer.

Riverdale is a mad delight. This show has taken an American icon of blandness and turned it into a bizarre, over-the-top mystery show.

At this point, I can't tell if this season is crazier than season 1 or if I just need time to readjust, but I cannot get over that scene at Thistle House.
