Completing the exciting events in this series that focus on Tommy Gavin, a firefighter lives a life full of chaos after the events which happened in 11 September and loses many of his relatives in this accident including his cousin Jimmy, who regards one of his best friends. So, the sixth season opens with dreadful dream that push Tommy to connect back and try to contact with his friends and family on the outside.

Uneven but irreverent, Rescue Me manages to rescue itself, immersing us in the tumultuous firefighting life that is the reason we watch the show.

It leaves the impression that last season's closer was a standard-issue TV gimmick rather than a dramatic game-changer that will set this series on track for the conclusion it deserves.
