There are a lot of exciting cases that will face the lawyer Madeline. These cases make Madeline insists to do her best to achieve the justice. Madeline's story begins with this underdog criminal defense firm led by her. It seems that Madeline is a fierce and uncompromising lawyer with a hunger for justice, and there is no one who understands the power of setting an innocent person free more than her. The events begins, where Easy's church recruits the team to retry the case of William Hurston, a man convicted of murder at the age of 14 due to a coerced confession. Meanwhile, Bellows retaliates against Madeline using Rosemary's family. The William's case resonates with Easy as he tries to connect with his teenage son, Michael, and Madeline finds a new lead in the investigation of Rosemary's death.
