Moonlighting - Season 2
The new season begins, with Dave and Maddy dreaming of their own solutions to an unresolved murder case in 1946 after hearing the story during that time. During this period, it appears that Maddy is betting on David that he cannot act as a responsible mature professional at some point while offering a ransom to a kidnapped pianist's mother.

Sometimes revisiting a once-beloved TV series can be a letdown... Fortunately for Moonlighting, which aired on ABC from 1985 to 1989, that's not the case.

Shepherd won a Golden Globe... and no embarrassment of award riches would be enough to commemorate their pairing, which could well be the greatest example of onscreen romantic chemistry ever, or at least certainly on a par with Tracy and Hepburn.

While most detective shows riff on Hitchcock at some point, Moonlighting riffs on Brian De Palma, the guy who riffs on Hitchcock the best.

It didn't take Nostradamus to predict that Willis had a future as a movie star, just as it's apparent that Shepherd's glory days were behind her.... Nevertheless, the show hits its stride in the second season.
