Here begins a series of new and powerful events that look different, as the second season returns to complete the events of the previous season. The season begins, where Olivia receives bad news. Destiny and Peter are updated on the desperate Yanda case. Johann finally reveals his work to Roman. Miranda is examined by the doctor. Contacts Chile Norman for assistance. The Roman desperation seeks help from Johan. On the other hand, Roman is being treated for the first time with Johan, whom Olivia does not feel happy about. Anna tells Olivia about Miranda's involvement with the child. Norman and Shelley meet after an accident. The suspicious fate of Miranda.

Hemlock Grove no longer suffers from lethargic pacing, but it's also been scrubbed free of any residual weirdness.

While a loyal contingent was inclined to give Hemlock Grove the benefit of the doubt in a "So bad it's good" way, watching the opening of the second go-round still tips the scales toward so bad -- and boring -- that it's just plain bad.
