Grantchester - Season 2
We are talking about more of the drama we are experiencing during the second season, which seems to be varied. The season begins where Sidney's mind is thrown out of these things when Reggie Lawson finds anxiety in the grave of his dead wife, Anna. Convinced that she still haunts his home and fixed yards after her suicide, he asks Sydney to come to his house, Kingsbrook and drive him out.

It is even more lovely, quiet, moody and engaging than the first season.

I think it's safe to say that Grantchester isn't a mystery show anymore. It's a straight up morality show.

There's a slight sense that, for all the parade of dead bodies, the show itself might just be the biggest stiff of them all.

It continues to explore adult issues and themes with intelligence and develop a rich cast of characters whose own stories take greater importance through the course of the season.

Grantchester deserves to be noticed and possibly even thanked for the rare calm it adds to the increasingly noisy TV landscape.

Grantchester always goes down as easily as a cup of sweet and milky tea.

The setting's squares and spires looked suitably dreamy. Grantchester feels more like a Sunday night drama than a Wednesday one: cosy, nostalgic and gently compelling. Norton but nice.
