Godfather of Harlem - Season 1
It is a series of criminal events that tell about Bumpy Johnson is a dangerous criminal. In the early 1960s, Johnson returned to find the neighborhood he once ruled on a dangerous chaotic path. Bumpy must regain control by eliminating the Genovese crime family. Johnson formed an alliance with radical preacher Malcolm X to access these schemes.

At least by then we know what the ceiling looks like for Godfather of Harlem. If it can't be The Sopranos or Boardwalk Empire it can be something less while still entertaining those who like mob stories.
