Every single line has been really well executed - there are so many little jokes and references. It's also got such heart.

I wish I liked Ghosts more. It's harmless, silly fun and I would rather watch 100 episodes of this than one of the BBC's more topical comedies. But it just doesn't make me laugh.

It's good to have something you can call proper family entertainment back. We need more silly, quick-fire gag, comfort-blanket TV right now.

It helps that the cast is uniformly great, from the reluctant, gentle patience of Charlotte Ritchie and Kiell Smith-Bynoe as Alison and Mike, to the spectrum of daftness that is the ghosts.
