The comedy series talks about the early twenty-first century, as it was visited on Earth by a female-style foreign race, Taelons. In that period, it seems that things turned into a different path soon after, as famine, diseases and pollution were completely eliminated with the help of Taelons but with already severe measures taken.

For the hardcore sci-fi aficionado it is recommended... It's certainly a much different view of humanity from the man who created "Star Trek," and that, in and of itself, makes it quite the curiosity piece.

The first season is pretty great, but the show goes through some rough re-casting and re-direction transitions over the course of its five seasons.
