Season 2 opens with a new threat emerging, leading Dr. Nate Heywood to seek out Oliver Queen to help find the scattered Legends. Once reunited, they go to 1942, to keep Albert Einstein from being kidnapped before the Nazis destroy New York City with a nuclear bomb.

The first two episodes of the new year of "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" have both been a lot of fun, even if the two respective groups have often been at odds with one another throughout. Not that it's necessarily a bad thing, mind you.

While most fans will likely be wondering about the whereabouts of Vandal Savage at this point in time, I do kind of like the concept of the team righting wrongs throughout the timeline as recompense for destroying the time masters.

It's not Legends weakest effort by far, but in comparison to the strong openers of The Flash and Supergirl, it still has a lot to achieve.
