It may be because the show is co-produced by Law & Order's Dick Wolf, but TNT's new real-life crime solving show, Cold Justice, is a cut above many other shows about solving long-dormant criminal cases.

When the murder of a loved one goes unsolved, says a grieving daughter in the new show, it is "like a dark cloud that follows you everywhere you go." It's nice to think that cloud no longer shadows the lives of some people here.

McClary and Siegler are likable women who, if they're not actually selfless, dedicated crusaders for justice, do a good job of playing ones on TV.
