I forgot that I dig Curtis so much because of all the other nonsense. Be that as it may, things take a step in the right direction this week.
August 02, 2018
I think this might be my favorite episode of the season because it draws on some of the show's strongest and oldest relationships (and also sidelines most of the new recruits).

The bar was set last season, and it seems like a continuing struggle to get to that level of masterful manipulation and mind games.

Things are starting to turn around with this pivot towards Diaz as the main villain. But it feels like everything taking place in this episode should have happened months sooner.

Overall, "Doppelganger" was one of the stronger episodes since the winter hiatus ended.
August 02, 2018
"Doppelganger" isn't a top-tier episode of Arrow, but after a few misfires, it's a relief to simply watch an hour of this series that makes sense.
August 02, 2018
Doppelgänger had the hard task of accomplishing a lot in 45 minutes. While mostly successful, this season feels like it's facing an uphill battle now to become truly memorable.
August 02, 2018
In a season full of parallels to earlier stories, it seems inevitable that we would eventually return to Roy Harper.
