The season begins with a whole lot of new drama we live in, where great secrets are revealed when Count Olaf goes to trial in the lobby. On the other hand, the Baudelairers may be the first to assume the post, where there can be a strong service of justice clearly.

It is frankly unacceptable that despite delivering the performance of a lifetime in A Series of Unfortunate Events, Neil Patrick Harris will forever be remembered as Barney Stinson.

Weissman and Hynes are wonderful this season, finally transforming the Baudelaire orphans into a group of heroes you want to root for based on their own virtue, not because of their terrible lives or a viewers' personal fondness for the book series.
