Volcano
The film takes place in the center of Los Angeles, after a huge volcanic explosion that threatens to destroy the entire city. In the midst of horrific events and what will happen to them and they must put a solution to this outbreak before the entire city is wiped out and they must turn the lava to another place to save people from him .

Volcano was really ahead of its time and time still hasn't caught up. In Volcano they thought of ways to stop the lava. They weren't going to give up L.A. You don't cast Tommy Lee Jones as the chief of emergency services and ask him to run.
