This film noir homage should have been fun, but it's cheaply shot and indifferently conceivedOctober 10, 2012
The film's weakest link is Rufus Sewell's rumpled gumshoe, inarticulate and mumbling to the point of madness.October 08, 2012
Though the kooky tale could have been more focused with fewer punchlines, all that seems to be missing is the dame called toots perhaps remarking to her latest possible infatuation: Is that a Kalashnikov in your pocket, or are you just glad to see me.October 11, 2012

A first-rate cast and stunning black-and-white visuals aren't enough to make this homage to classic film noir successful.
