Romancing the Stone
The story tells of a woman named Joan Wilder, a lonely romantic novelist in New York City heading for South America. The trip may be very exciting as she has to wander around the Colombian jungle with mercenaries chasing her missing sister.

Between Michael Douglas' mullet, a synthesizer heavy score, and Kathleen Turner shining in her blink and you missed it prime, Zemeckis' movie is truly time capsule worthy.
