Breakthrough
It was a real tragedy when Smith was 14 years old, drowning in Lake St. Louis and died within an hour. There appear to be many attempts made in that case and reports at the time indicate that the CPR was carried out 27 minutes but to no avail. Tragically, however, the young mother of Joyce Smith entered the room suddenly and prayed loudly, discovering that there was a strange surprise that might occur.
