Inside Vasquez's house, there are six adopted children who live there. One of these boys is Billy Batson whose life is about to completely change. At the railway station, Billy finds a car. When he says 'Shazam' the car turns him to a superhero with great superpowers. After that, Billy realizes that he has duties to do, he has to defend the world against an evil man named Dr. Thaddeus Sivana.
