Roy Jackson hails from Richmond, California. He graduated from The University of California Berkeley, where he walked on the football team and eventually earned a scholarship. It was there, where he was introduced to acting and began studying the craft. Roy also trained at The American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco and performed community-theater throughout the Bay Area. What began on the theater stage, has continued on the small and big screen, as he works in both film and television. Roy Jackson has been making people laugh his whole life, so stand-up comedy was naturally a seamless progression.
