Growing up in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs his father Robert was a John Wayne fan and found out John Wayne's real middle name was Robert so took that as a sign to name his son Duke. Duke spent most of his childhood as an adrenaline junkie racing dirt bikes and later progressed to cars eventually giving up racing for a safer sport, acting. He is a strong film and entertainment industry advocate leveraging his acting and networking abilities to grow the film community as well as helping to promote more work opportunities.
