Wu Assassins - Season 1
The series revolves around Kai Jin, a young chef in San Francisco's Chinatown. As the days pass, there will be a strong confrontation through a mysterious spirit, where Kai has become the Wu Assassin where he experiences a different experience. Kay began his mission using his enhanced martial arts skills to restore the supernatural powers of five modern-day criminals who will threaten the world.

[Wu Assassins] harnesses Uwais' energy as both a fighter and an actor in an exciting fashion, and creates a giddy opportunity for martial arts awesomeness to flourish.

Wu Assassins shines with its brutal and bloody martial arts action from Iko Uwais and Mark Dacascos. The same can't be said of the dialogue and some of the acting from the supporting cast.

I think this show has potential. I like the cast. I like the premise. I like the Shaw Brothers vibes and that faint odor of tokusatsu I'm picking up on, too.
