This dramatic series takes after a lady called Joy who functions as a therapist. Joy carries on with an exhausting existence with his better half Alan after a mischance that debilitates their sex connection. When they persuade an opportunity to be with new individuals, they attempt to re-construct their association with a brassy, unconventional, yet conceivably splendid proposition.

Joy's whole problem is that she's been having BBC sex, and now she's there on the BBC having more of it. These are sex scenes that you know the Queen might be watching. We are not aroused.

In reality, Nick Payne's drama came across as a swish comedy of sexual manners, adapted from his play, and ably performed by two fine actors.

Wanderlust is likely to trigger a lot of conversations. As for the solution adopted by Joy and Alan, don't necessarily try it at home.

If married, middle-aged people want insights into their own sex lives, or lack of them, they don't have to have them explained - or "youthsplained" - by people in their early thirties, who, one hopes, have the truth ahead of them.
