Czar Nicholas II took the Russian throne in 1894, when things were quite turbulent during that period because he rejected modern ideas. During the reign, social unrest swept Russia in the early 20th century where Nicholas II resists change in order to gain full control of the reins which led to a revolution and the end of the dynasty.
