Where the Heart is
The dramatic film revolves around an interesting array of romantic situations. Novali travels with her boyfriend on a trip to California, stopping next to a store in Oklahoma. She goes to the bathroom and when she returns, she finds Willy gone. Novali is very shocked, but decides to stay alone, and the problem is that she has little money and does not have any skills. Novaly sneaks in overnight at the store and starts making friends with a different group of strangers.

A veritable ventricular chamber orchestra of emotional manipulations and easy virtues.November 06, 2002
The scenes feel forced, producing episodic plotting and calling attention to the characters' superficiality.
