The comedy film, which presents the rich story of Laurence Burn, who has financial problems, has decided to escape to Thailand away from large financial debts. In the plane, Tom recognizes Tuttle as a very modest young man. After the group arrives, Tom and Tuttle build a bridge along with Beth Wexler, the only English-speaking woman. The group begins to work, but things turn upside down when the CIA, the Communists and the drug lord discover that there is a group looking to build a new bridge.
