The Other Side of the Wind
Jake Hanaford is a leading Hollywood filmmaker who has been an exile in Europe. Jake was killed in a car accident when he completed his 70th year. Shortly before his death, Jake was trying to revive the profession of re-directing by producing a comedy film, loaded with unprofessional sex scenes and violence. At the time of Hanaford's concert, The Other Side of the Wind was left out, but it was not complete.

It's a mess, and I think perhaps Welles knew it would be... I can envision this as a future cult classic, but you may need the stamina of Huston's liver to get through it.

Cinephiles will dive deep into The Other Side of the Wind, no doubt about that. What they find, and if it's of any worth, is up for debate. Frankly, I didn't see much of anything here.
