February 01, 2010

July 22, 2006
Spurning Masterpiece Theatre twittiness, Scorsese cuts to the primal passions of Wharton's tale.
February 09, 2006
Scorsese's most poignantly moving film.
September 22, 2008
An extraordinarily sumptuous piece of filmmaking.

Manages to be both personal and true to its source, though it never quite comes together.
