The Aftermath
In 1946, Germany, after the brutal war, Rachel Morgan decided to move unexpectedly to Hamburg in the bitter winter. Rachel's goal may have been to reunite with her husband Lewis, the British colonel in charge of rebuilding the devastated city. When they set out for their new home, Rachel seemed unexpectedly surprised that Lewis decided to share the big house with her former owners, a German widower and his troubled daughter. It seems very astounding; as there are more unexpected things in that house that occur strangely.
