Emmett and Nell were working at the same newspaper in New York. After they had a dinner and they seemed to like each other, Emmett suddenly disappeared saying nothing to Nell. This thing gave Nell the inspiration to write a successful romantic book. Things change when they meet each other again in Christmas at the hometown of Emmett, Springdale.
